Losing Weight With Real Food – Part Seven, Ease Into It.

HomeUncategorizedLosing Weight With Real Food – Part Seven, Ease Into It.

Did you think I had forgotten about my series on using Real Food to lose weight? Well, not quite, but I’m going to finally finish it! This is the last little broken down bit, and then next week I’ll give a wrap up of the whole series.

Losing Weight With Real Food

If you need to catch up, here you go:

For my last segment, I want to ease your mind a bit. When I first started changing our diets, I was so very overwhelmed with all the information out there. I was scared to eat pretty much everything , because what if it was bad? What didn’t I know about the food I was feeding my family? What should I do if I couldn’t afford to buy everything organic? Where in the world do I find grass fed meat? I sometimes felt like I was drowning in all the information, and other times that I didn’t have enough information!

For some people it might work to completely purge their cupboards of all processed food. In our case, if we had done that, we would have starved because we had not yet figured out how to eat. Before we could do that, we had to find new recipes and learn what we could eat to replace the foods we were used to.

On your own journey to real food, if you really want the changes to be lasting and life-long, it’s best to do just one baby step at a time. For example, maybe one day find a new recipe to incorporate into your routine. Another day, while grocery shopping, replace just one of your regular grocery items with an organic version. Instead of microwave popcorn, use an air popper or pop it in coconut oil on the stove. Buy a whole grain bread instead of white, one with few ingredients on the label. Go through the other steps I’ve given to losing weight with Real Food and find just one that you can work on.

Even one small change will improve your health. Soon your small changes start to add up, and it won’t take long before you have a new, healthier lifestyle.

Watch for the wrap up next week!

This is a great series! Such a good point – if I tried to completely cut myself off, I don’t think I’d be able to stick with it. Thanks for linking to the In and Out of the Kitchen Link Party. Hope to see you next week.
